Mark Items "Out of Stock"
To ensure items are accurately marked as "Out of Stock" for both in-store and online customers, it's absolutely crucial to update availability in these places:
  • the POS (Square) Modifier Section
  • the POS (Square) ITEMS Section
Updating all locations is necessary to prevent customer disappointment and to maintain accurate inventory tracking across all your sales channels.

POS- Mark Modifiers "Out of Stock"
This procedure is for marking items as 'Out of Stock' specifically for the POS (Point of Sale)

You will need to repeat this step to mark them back in stock.

The ITEM must also be marked "Out of Stock".

You just press and hold on the items and you will be able to set it unavailable. 

For Single Cookies specifically you will need to go to the second page of your POS and locate “Single Cookies Stock” in here use the same process.  

  • Simply click and hold on the tile
  • Then you see a pop-up “make item unavailable”
